1. Scale inhibitor. Currently, the main types of scale inhibitors used in water treatment are organic phosphates and polyacids.
2. Corrosion inhibitor. Inorganic salts are an important category of corrosion inhibitors.
3. Bactericidal and algicidal agent. Common water treatment bactericidal and algicidal agents mainly fall into two categories: oxidizing bactericidal agents and non-oxidizing bactericidal agents.
4. Inorganic coagulant. Inorganic coagulants are divided into inorganic macromolecular coagulants and inorganic small molecule coagulants. Common inorganic small molecule coagulants include aluminum sulfate, ferrous sulfate, ferric chloride, etc., while inorganic macromolecular coagulants include polyaluminum chloride, poly硫酸铁, basic aluminum chloride, polyaluminum ferric chloride, etc.
5. Organic flocculant. Organic flocculants are classified into four categories: synthetic high molecular flocculants, natural high molecular modified flocculants, microbial flocculants, and multi-functional water treatment agents. Synthetic high molecular flocculants mainly include polyacrylamide (PAM) and its derivatives. Natural high molecular modified flocculants include derivatives of starch, cellulose, gummy plants, polysaccharides, and proteins, and currently account for approximately 20% of the total amount of high molecular flocculants. Microbial flocculants refer to the use of high molecular substances secreted by certain microorganisms as flocculants.
