1. Selection of polyaluminum chloride types. Polyaluminum chloride can be classified into many types based on molecular weight, production process, content, properties, etc. When using it, it is necessary to select the appropriate type according to the actual treatment object and environmental factors.
2. The water temperature for using polyaluminum chloride should generally be controlled between 20-30℃. The higher the water temperature, the faster the dissolution rate. When the water temperature is lower than 5℃, the flocculation effect of polyaluminum chloride is relatively poor.
3. pH value: For polyaluminum chloride, the suitable pH value range is 6.4-7.8.
4. Stirring: During the flocculation process of polyaluminum chloride, it is divided into three stages: mixing, reaction, and separation. The mixing stage requires high-intensity stirring, aiming to allow polyaluminum chloride to diffuse quickly and uniformly to form a flocculent mass; in the reaction stage, slow stirring is required, which can provide opportunities for the flocculation process and prevent the already flocculated masses from being broken.
5. Dosage: The dosage of polyaluminum chloride is important. Using too much or too little will not achieve the expected effect. A small test with 1000 milliliters of wastewater can be conducted to determine the specific dosage of polyaluminum chloride, which can achieve twice the result with half the effort for water purification.
