The ceramisite filter material is made from high-quality clay, clay, and adhesives through grinding, screening, and firing processes. It features a hard surface and numerous micropores with a high porosity. It is inoculated with aerobic activated sludge and can achieve the treatment effect of an aerated biological filter within two weeks of water intake. In the treatment of steel rolling wastewater， methods such as sedimentation， coagulation， and biological陶粒 filtration are generally used. After removing suspended solids and oil from the wastewater， it is cooled to be reused. The quality of the treated water requires a turbidity of 10-15 degrees and an oil content of less than 10 milligrams per liter.

1.The particles are round, uniform, have a rough surface, numerous micropores, well-developed internal pores, a large specific surface area, thus having a strong ability for bacterial attachment, rapid reproduction, high membrane formation efficiency. Under low-temperature and low turbidity conditions, the removal effect of ammonia nitrogen reaches the advanced level in China. The working cycle is long, and the cycle production water volume is large, generally ranging from 500 to 1000 m³/m.

2.The accumulation has a light weight and high strength, resulting in low backwashing energy consumption and small head loss. The head loss of the cleaning water is only 150mm/m.

3.It has a strong sewage interception capacity, typically ranging from 9 to 13 kg/m³.

4. The filtration speed is high, usually 15-20 m/h, and can reach up to 35 kg/m³ in some cases.

5. The water consumption during backwashing is low, only 30-40% of that of quartz filter media.

6. The chemical properties are stable, with strong resistance to acid and alkali, and a long service life.

Usage instructions：

The ceramisite filter material can be directly filled into the filter tank, filter bed or BAF reactor. The appropriate particle size should be selected based on the water quality. Generally， smaller particle sizes are used for shallow filtration， while those with higher porosity are chosen for the biofilm method. During operation， regular backwashing is required， and the backwashing intensity and expansion rate should be controlled to prevent the loss of filter material. When the suspended solids in the water are high， it is recommended to have a pre-precipitation or filtration pretreatment.
