The coal-based columnar activated carbon is made from high-quality anthracite as the raw material, through a series of processes such as carbonization, cooling, activation, and washing. Its appearance is generally black sheet-shaped round columnar activated carbon, and the amorphous coal particles activated carbon, also known as crushed charcoal. The round columnar activated carbon is also called columnar charcoal, which is generally made by mixing and extruding powder raw materials and binders, then undergoing carbonization and activation processes. It can also be formed by extruding powder activated carbon with binders. It has a developed pore structure, good adsorption performance, high mechanical strength, easy repeated use, and low cost. It is used for the purification of toxic gases, waste gas treatment, purification and treatment of industrial and domestic water, solvent recovery, etc.

Coal-based columnar activated carbon is used for purifying toxic gases, treating waste gas, purifying industrial and domestic water, solvent recovery, and other aspects.
