The wooden columnar activated carbon is made from high-quality wood chips and forestry processing residues through a series of processes including impurity removal and crushing, material mixing, extrusion molding, drying, carbonization, high-temperature steam activation, and screening and selection. It is a black cylindrical adsorption material. Unlike coal-based columnar charcoal, this product has well-developed micropores, extremely low ash content, and low impurity content. It has excellent desorption and regeneration performance and is the preferred industrial filter material for solvent recovery, liquid phase decolorization and purification, and adsorption of large-molecule organic pollutants.

The product features a multi-level pore structure with a gradient distribution of micropores, mesopores and macropores. The micropores provide a large specific surface area, enabling efficient capture of small molecule VOC pollutants; the abundant mesopores offer adsorption sites for large molecules of pigments and high-molecular organic substances, serving as a mass transfer channel to allow gas and liquid molecules to quickly enter the carbon interior, reducing adsorption resistance; the macropores act as fluid channels, ensuring smooth gas and liquid flow. The product has a high carbon tetrachloride (CTC) adsorption value and large adsorption capacity. After saturation, it can be desorbed through steam desorption. After multiple cycles of regeneration, the adsorption performance decays slowly, with a high solvent recovery rate, significantly reducing the cost of project consumables replacement.

The particles are well-formed and have excellent mechanical strength. The filling process is not prone to breakage, and the dust output is low. They form a stable carbon bed in adsorption towers and fixed bed equipment. During operation, the bed layer is not prone to collapse, the equipment pressure difference is stable, and the fan load is reduced. The carbon matrix is pure, and the impurities such as heavy metals that are extracted are extremely low. It will not cause secondary pollution to the materials and can be used in industrial conditions with strict purity requirements, such as food, medicine, and fine chemicals. It has good chemical stability, is resistant to weak acids and weak alkalis, and is suitable for various gas-liquid treatment environments.

It is widely applied in the recovery of organic solvents (such as ethyl acetate, acetone, toluene, xylene, etc.), the treatment of industrial VOCs organic waste gas, the decolorization of chemical materials and liquid, the purification of pharmaceutical intermediates, the decolorization and deodorization of food and beverages, the deep decolorization and deodorization of industrial wastewater, gas desulfurization, and odor purification, etc. It can be customized with different diameter specifications according to the customer's working conditions, and can be adapted to be filled in solvent recovery devices, fixed-bed adsorption towers, decolorization filtration tanks and other equipment.
