The oil decolorizing activated carbon is a food-grade wood-based powdered activated carbon. It is made from high-quality wood chips and is prepared through a phosphoric acid activation process. After acid washing to remove impurities and fine grinding, it is formed into black fine powder. It has a well-developed medium and large pore structure and has extremely strong adsorption capacity for pigments, gums, free fatty acids, odor substances, and trace heavy metals in vegetable oil and animal oil. It is widely used in the refining process of edible and industrial oils to remove carotenoids, chlorophyll, etc. from the oils, reduce the oil color, remove odors and impurities, improve the transparency and quality of the oils, and comply with food contact safety standards.
