Anionic polyacrylamide, abbreviated as APAM, is an anionic, high-molecular-weight water-soluble flocculant. Its molecular chains contain negatively charged active groups that, through adsorption and bridging mechanisms, capture positively charged suspended coarse particles in water, rapidly forming large, dense flocs to accelerate sedimentation and solid-liquid separation. Suitable for neutral and alkaline water conditions, it is widely used in coal washing, mineral processing, sand and gravel treatment, metallurgy, and wastewater clarification in steel mills. It can also be applied in oilfield thickening and papermaking retention aid. The product appears as white granules or fine powder, dissolves easily in water but is insoluble in most organic solvents.

Usage Instructions:

1.When using, prepare a 0.1% concentration aqueous solution. It is preferable to use water that is neutral and free of salt impurities.

2. During dissolution, evenly sprinkle the anionic polyacrylamide product into the stirred water, with the stirring speed controlled at 100 to 300 rpm. Appropriate heating (< 60°C) can accelerate the dissolution.

3. Adjust the pH value of the treated liquid to enable the anionic polyacrylamide product to function to its fullest extent (select the appropriate pH value and the dosage of this series of products through experiments.)

4. When adding the anionic polyacrylamide product solution, accelerate the mixing with the treated liquid. When flocculent substances appear, reduce the stirring speed to facilitate the growth of the flocculent substances and accelerate the sedimentation.
