Cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM) is a linear polymer compound. Due to its presence of various active groups, it can form hydrogen bonds with many substances and exhibit affinity and adsorption properties. Primarily, it is used for flocculation of negatively charged colloids, possessing functions such as clarifying, decolorizing, adsorbing, and bonding. It is applicable to wastewater treatment in industries such as dyeing, papermaking, food, construction, metallurgy, mineral processing, coal powder, oil fields, aquatic product processing and fermentation, especially suitable for the dewatering treatment of wastewater with high organic colloid content, including urban sewage, urban sludge, papermaking sludge, and other industrial sludge.

Cationic polyacrylamide is used in urban sewage treatment, paper industry, food processing industry, petrochemical industry, metallurgical industry, mineral processing industry, dyeing industry, sugar industry and various industrial wastewater treatment. It is used for sludge sedimentation and sludge removal in the wastewater treatment processes of urban sewage and meat, poultry, food processing wastewater. Through the positively charged groups it contains, it can neutralize the electrical charge of negatively charged organic colloids in the sludge and has excellent bridging and coagulation functions of polymers, promoting the aggregation of colloidal particles into large flocculent masses, which can be separated from the suspension. Therefore, its application is very wide. The purification effect is obvious and the dosage is small. This product is mainly used as a flocculant in the solid-liquid separation processes in industry, including sedimentation, clarification, concentration and sludge dewatering processes. In the paper industry, it can be used as a dry strength agent, retention agent and filtration aid for paper, which can greatly improve the quality of the paper, save costs and increase the production capacity of the paper mill. It can be said that it achieves significant cost savings.

Usage Instructions:

1. Through small-scale trials, determine the appropriate model and the suitable dosage for the product.

2. The product should be prepared as a 0.1% (referring to the solid content) aqueous solution. Neutral water without salt is preferred.

3. When dissolving water, evenly sprinkle this product into the stirred water. Appropriate heating (<60℃) can accelerate the formation of the solution.

4. The solid product is packaged in polypropylene woven bags with plastic inner bags. Each bag contains 25kg. The gel-like substance is packaged in plastic drums with plastic inner bags. Each drum contains 50kg or 200kg.

5. This product has hygroscopicity. It should be sealed and stored in a cool and dry place with a temperature lower than 35℃.

6. The solid product should be avoided being scattered on the ground to prevent the product from absorbing moisture and making the ground slippery.
