Powdered activated carbon for wastewater treatment is primarily made from high-quality anthracite coal, processed through carbonization, high-temperature steam activation, and ultra-fine grinding and screening to produce a fine black powder. The product features a well-balanced combination of micropores and mesopores, a large specific surface area, and rapid adsorption rate. It effectively removes dissolved organic pollutants from water, significantly reducing COD, color, and odor in wastewater, while also adsorbing certain heavy metals. Suitable for pre-treatment, advanced treatment, and emergency remediation of water quality exceedances in municipal sewage and various industrial wastewater streams, it is widely used as an adsorbent filter medium in the water treatment industry.
