Wood-based powdered activated carbon is produced by carbonizing wood chips and wood shavings, followed by high-temperature activation with phosphoric acid/zinc chloride, and then ultrafine grinding and screening to form black fine powder. It has a well-developed medium-large pore structure, with large pore volume, and excellent adsorption performance for large-molecule colored substances and natural organic matter. It is widely used in liquid phase decolorization, purification, odor removal, in the fields of food and beverage, medicine, chemical industry, and water treatment decolorization.
