Shell-based granular activated carbon for air purification is made from high-quality natural fruit shells such as apricot and walnut shells. It undergoes high-temperature carbonization, steam activation, and screening to produce black, irregularly shaped granules. With a well-developed microporous structure complemented by an appropriate amount of mesopores, it offers a large specific surface area and strong adsorption capacity for VOCs, odor molecules, and harmful gases. The granules are highly durable, resistant to breakage, generate low dust, and provide stable airflow resistance with minimal risk of clogging equipment. This makes it an ideal gaseous adsorbent filter commonly used in ventilation units, exhaust gas treatment systems, air purifiers, and deodorizing devices.
