The wood-based activated carbon used for water purification is generally wood powder activated carbon, made from high-quality hardwood sawdust through phosphoric acid activation process. It has a well-developed medium to large pore structure. It can adsorb natural humus, color, odor, trace organic substances, and precursors of disinfection by-product in water, and is used for water purification of raw water for tap water, reclaimed water, landscape water, and deep water purification treatment of sewage.Compared with coal-based water purification carbon, wood-based carbon has larger pores and better removal effect on large molecular weight natural organic matter and color in water bodies, making it suitable for the purification of high-color raw water.
