Air purification coal-based columnar activated carbon is made of high-quality anthracite coal through a series of processes including carbonization, cooling, activation, washing and extrusion molding. It appears as black cylindrical particles. Coal powder mixed with binder is kneaded, extruded, carbonized and activated. It features well-developed micropores, excellent gas-phase adsorption capacity and high mechanical strength. It is wear-resistant and not easy to break, with low dust generation during filling. The air flow resistance is stable. It can be regenerated and reused after saturation, which is cost-effective. It is a mainstream adsorption filter material for industrial waste gas and air purification.

It is mainly used for purification of toxic and harmful gas, industrial VOC waste gas treatment, odor removal and organic solvent recovery. It is widely used in workshop waste gas treatment of painting, printing, rubber and furniture industries to adsorb volatile organic pollutants such as benzene, toluene and xylene; odor control of sewage stations and garbage stations to remove hydrogen sulfide and ammonia; air deodorization for fresh air systems, basements and machine rooms; gas deodorization and desulfurization in petrochemical industry; process gas purification and solvent recovery in chemical industry. It can also remove formaldehyde and odor in warehouses and containers, pre-treat automobile exhaust and control gasoline evaporation pollution.

With stable gas adsorption performance, good particle strength and low dust property, it is suitable for filling waste gas adsorption towers and carbon filter boxes. It is not easy to pulverize and collapse under continuous air flow, and has stable service life. With stricter environmental regulations, air purification coal-based columnar activated carbon will have promising prospects and broad market in waste gas treatment and air purification.
