The waterproof activated carbon has a large specific surface area, a microporous structure, high adsorption capacity and high surface area. It is widely used in air pollution control. The method of using waterproof activated carbon for adsorption is that the waste gas comes into contact with the multi-porous activated carbon with a large surface area. The pollutants in the waste gas are adsorbed, thereby achieving purification. The pollutants that can be removed to varying degrees by using waterproof activated carbon include: nitrogen oxides, carbon tetrachloride, benzene, formaldehyde, ethanol, methanol, acetic acid, ethyl acetate, styrene, and foul odors, etc.
