The raw materials of activated carbon honeycomb are mainly coconut shell charcoal powder, coal-based charcoal powder, and wood charcoal powder. After being processed and shaped, they are further treated with chemical treatment. Because of their honeycomb-like shape, they are called activated carbon honeycomb. The products can be divided into water-resistant and non-water-resistant types. Its main outstanding features are: a large specific surface area, low resistance of the pores, well-developed micropores, high adsorption capacity, and long service life. The activated carbon adsorption method selects activated carbon honeycomb, that is, the waste gas comes into contact with the multi-porous activated carbon with a large surface area. The pollutants in the waste gas are adsorbed, thereby achieving purification.

The honeycomb-shaped activated carbon is a new type of environmentally friendly activated carbon product for air purification. It can reduce odors and pollutants and meet the national standards for air emissions. The main raw materials of this product are coal-based activated carbon powder, high iodine value coconut shell activated carbon powder, and de-colored wood activated carbon powder. Currently, most of the products in the domestic market are made of coal-based activated carbon powder in the form of honeycomb shapes, so they are called honeycomb-shaped activated carbon.
