Honeycomb activated carbon for catalytic combustion is a special honeycomb carbon filter material customized for RCO catalytic combustion equipment. It is produced from high iodine value carbon powder and high-temperature resistant inorganic binder via mixing, extrusion, carbonization and activation. It owns well-developed pore structure and high adsorption capacity with good thermal stability, matching the full process of adsorption-desorption-catalytic combustion, which is the key filling medium for VOCs RCO systems.

Organic waste gas passes through honeycomb carbon block, VOCs such as benzene, toluene, xylene, ethyl acetate and acetone are adsorbed. When saturated, hot air is introduced for desorption. The concentrated desorbed gas enters catalytic chamber and is decomposed into CO₂ and H₂O at low temperature with catalyst. Designed for RCO working condition, it has better high-temperature resistance than ordinary honeycomb carbon, resisting cracking and powdering during desorption.
