Honeycomb activated carbon for VOCs treatment is a monolithic honeycomb adsorbent filter media dedicated to industrial volatile organic waste gas treatment. It is made of high-quality carbon powder and inorganic binder through mixing, extrusion forming, high-temperature carbonization and activation. With well-developed micropores and large specific surface area, it delivers stable and high adsorption efficiency for volatile organic pollutants. The straight honeycomb channels greatly reduce gas flow resistance and fan energy consumption, widely used as core filling material for VOCs treatment equipment in painting, printing and plastic industries.

When VOCs-containing waste gas flows through honeycomb carbon channels, organic molecules such as benzene, toluene, xylene, ethyl acetate, acetone and formaldehyde are captured and adsorbed by internal micropores for gas purification. After adsorption saturation, hot air can be applied for desorption and regeneration to restore adsorption capacity for repeated use. Compared with granular or columnar activated carbon, monolithic honeycomb blocks are easy to load, stable in stacking, low dust and anti-collapse, avoiding equipment blockage.

Note: Water-resistant honeycomb carbon is recommended for high humidity conditions. For RCO catalytic combustion system, high-temperature resistant honeycomb carbon for catalytic combustion is preferred.
