The effect of the coal washing special polyacrylamide is several times better than that of ordinary polyacrylamide. It has a very obvious effect in coal washing filtration or in the discharged groundwater. Its reaction time is only about 5 seconds, and the sedimentation effect can be seen immediately. Therefore, many coal mines have chosen the coal washing special flocculant for this reason. The coal extracted during mining usually contains some impurities. By adding a flotation agent, the separation efficiency of coal and impurities can be improved. The clean coal is floated out, and the tail coal settles. Then, the clean coal in the tail coal is recovered through sedimentation, filtration or centrifugation. Polyacrylamide is applied in the sedimentation process to promote solid-liquid separation. Then it is sent to the concentrator, and the clean water is recovered by the overflow of the concentrator and recycled. The fine coal is recovered through filtration and centrifugation. Application scenario:

The repulsive force between like charges keeps these particles dispersed in water, influenced by gravity and Brownian motion. Due to the interactions between solid particles in coal slime water (such as adsorption, dissolution, and combination), the nature of the coal washing wastewater is quite complex. It not only has the properties of a suspension but also those of a colloid. Due to the above reasons, it is difficult for coal washing wastewater to naturally clarify, and the supernatant after sedimentation of such wastewater is still a black liquid containing a large amount of coal slime and other suspended substances, and it contains various additives and harmful substances from the coal processing process. A large amount of coal washing wastewater is not discharged up to standard, causing water pollution, river siltation, coal slime loss, and resulting in significant economic losses for the country. It also makes the water resources in the coal industry even more scarce, severely restricting the development of coal production. Therefore, developing new technologies and processes for high-quality treatment of coal washing wastewater is of great significance. The coal washing-specific polyacrylamide is necessary to ensure rapid sedimentation of coal slime water in the concentration tank, guarantee qualified washing water and filterable coal slime production, and ensure high-quality economic operation of the production. It must select an appropriate flocculant to enhance the treatment of coal slime water. Usage instructions:

The special polyacrylamide for coal washing must be added in an appropriate amount to effectively exert its flocculation effect when dealing with coal slime wastewater. The dosage can be determined through experiments based on the selected coal slime water treatment process and the properties of the coal slime water. A low dosage will result in a slower sedimentation speed of the coal slime and easy over-limitation of the concentrated overflow, which cannot guarantee the required circulating water indicators, making it difficult to stabilize the indicators of the washed coal products. An excessive dosage, although accelerating the sedimentation speed of the coal slime, is prone to causing excessively high concentration in the concentrated bottom flow; generally, the concentration of the concentrated bottom flow should be 500g/L to meet the requirements for filter press production; an excessive dosage causes the concentration of the concentrated bottom flow to sometimes reach over 700g/L, and the content of polyacrylamide in the bottom flow increases, which is unfavorable for the transportation of the bottom flow and the filter press production. During the unloading of coal cakes from the filter press, the coal cakes are not easily detached, increasing the labor intensity of the operators and reducing the efficiency. It also causes waste of the reagent and an increase in production costs. Therefore, using an appropriate amount of polyacrylamide can not only improve the flocculation effect, effectively treat the coal slime wastewater, but also play an important role in ensuring the indicators of the washed coal products, improving efficiency, and reducing costs.
