The solvent recovery column-shaped activated carbon is a type of coal-based extruded column-shaped activated carbon. It is specially developed for the "organic solvent recovery process". It is made from high-quality anthracite as the raw material, through processes such as grinding, ingredient mixing and kneading, extrusion molding, carbonization, high-temperature steam activation, and screening and refining. The finished product is a black solid cylindrical particle, featuring a composite pore structure of micropores and mesopores that is suitable for solvent recovery conditions. It has a large adsorption capacity and smooth desorption and analysis. It is a dedicated adsorption material for solvent recovery devices in the printing, chemical, and coating industries.

Compared with ordinary waste gas treatment activated carbon, the solvent recovery special carbon focuses on optimizing the "repeated adsorption - steam desorption cycle performance". It maintains stable adsorption capacity even after thousands of regeneration cycles and is not prone to powdering or fragmentation. The working principle is to capture organic solvent vapor through physical adsorption. After saturation, water vapor is introduced for heating and desorption. The solvent vapor condenses and separates, achieving the recovery and reuse of organic solvents. This not only meets environmental protection emission requirements but also helps customers recover valuable solvents and reduce raw material procurement costs.

The solvents that can be efficiently recovered include: ethyl acetate, toluene, xylene, acetone, butanone (MEK), n-hexane, isopropanol, ethanol, dichloromethane, trichloromethane, and ether-based organic vapors. They are widely used in solvent recovery equipment for industries such as soft packaging flexographic printing, coating, paints, pharmaceutical and chemical industries, artificial leather, adhesives, and extraction processing, and are installed in fixed-bed adsorption tanks and dual-tower/multi-tower continuous solvent recovery systems.

The pore structure is compatible with solvent molecules, the steam desorption process is fast, there is little residual solvent in the carbon, the regeneration efficiency is high, and the degradation rate during long-term circulation is slow.

Usage Tips: Remove dust and tar from the intake air; Control the intake air temperature within 40℃; For high-humidity conditions, pre-treatment is required to prevent water vapor from occupying the adsorption sites and reducing the efficiency of solvent adsorption.
