Coal-based columnar activated carbon for water purification is produced from high-quality anthracite through kneading, extrusion, carbonization and steam activation. It is widely used as filter media in water treatment industry.

With well-developed pore structure, it can adsorb organic matter, residual chlorine, color, odor, heavy metals, phenols and TOC in water. High mechanical strength ensures the pellets resist water scouring, low fines and no pipe blockage during filtration. The carbon has stable chemical performance and can work under different pH conditions.

It is widely applied in tap water advanced treatment, industrial circulating water, reclaimed water reuse, chemical wastewater pretreatment, groundwater decolorization and deodorization. Installed in steel or stainless steel filter tanks. It can be backwashed for maintenance and regenerated in suitable conditions. Multiple diameters available for different filter tanks and water flow rate.
